Rene is a compassionate Intake Assistant at Smithey Law Group. Before joining the firm, she taught Kindergarten for several years before taking time off to raise her family. Rene’s entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and passion for cooking and baking led her to run a successful catering venture that began in college.
Deeply committed to community service, Rene has volunteered extensively—serving on PTA and booster club boards, acting as a room mom and team mom, coaching her daughter’s tennis team, and serving as a tennis coordinator and captain for many years. She brings the same dedication, warmth, and care to her work supporting clients at Smithey Law Group

- Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.
Personal Interest
- Rene enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and little Blu, baking, decorating, yard work, and outdoor activities.
