Attorney Maryo Bittar joined Smithey Law Group in 2023. His practice currently focuses on labor and employment law issues, including wage claims, sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and more.
Before joining Smithey Law Group, Attorney Bittar worked as a Rule 19 Prosecutor for the Howard County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he dealt with criminal and serious traffic matters.
Attorney Bittar also has over 13 years of experience in the restaurant business, and is a native Arabic speaker. In his free time, Attorney Bittar enjoys weight training, boxing, and traveling.
Education
Attorney Bittar has earned his Bachelors of Arts in Jurisprudence in 2017 from the University of Baltimore. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2022. Attorney Bittar was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2023.
