Ben Waschler has a proven track record of successful results litigating employment law cases such as discrimination, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation and non-selection, among others. Before joining Smithey Law Group, Ben was a lead litigation attorney for five years defending Title VII cases in the Office of the General Counsel at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Ben provides expert advice on how to successfully navigate difficult workplace environments and advantageously position his clients in anticipation of litigation. Prior to working at the USDA, Ben completed a two-year clerkship for the Honorable William Colwell and Honorable Dana Rosen at the United States Department of Labor. While clerking, Ben gained in depth knowledge on how judges analyze cases, arguments and their motivations when rendering decisions.

Ben prides himself on having a calming demeanor and understanding how to counsel clients going through a novel and stressful experience. Ben’s focus is on ensuring that his clients receive excellent legal advice in a manner that allows them to make an informed decision that is best for their future.
